Board Member Lindsey Morfin recognized as a 2020 EMPower List Future Leader

Music for Autism is so excited that Board Member Lindsey Morfin has been recognized as one of the 2020 EMPower List’s Future Leaders. The EMpower Top 100 Ethnic Minority Future Leader Role Models 2020 list “celebrates inspirational people of colour who are making a significant contribution to ethnic minority people at work. These inspirational individuals are encouraging those inside and outside of their organisations to stand up and work together to increase opportunities for people of colour.”

Lindsey noted that, “When I joined Wall Street it was clear there weren’t many Hispanic / Latinx professionals across any of the ranks – especially the senior-most levels. I joined the steering committee of the Firmwide Hispanic Latino Network at Goldman Sachs to be able to make a difference including: to promote professional development and career advancement, support those trying to get into the industry, give back to the community, and to celebrate and share my heritage.”

We know Lindsey to be an exceptionally important member of our board, supporting Music for Autism through her advocacy and fundraising ingenuity. She’s spearheaded corporate sponsorships in addition to helping create lively benefit events, and loves to attend as many concerts as she can. Most recently she was in attendance at our virtual concert with CJ and Kasie, both of whom are personal friends of hers and how we got connected to these incredible performers.

We are so proud of Lindsey for receiving the deserved recognition of the EMPower List, and are grateful she is choosing to share her talents with us too!
