Music for Autism Receives a Grant from the eBay Foundation Corporate Advised Fund at Silicon Valley Community Foundation

On September 2nd, 2014, the eBay Foundation Corporate Advised Fund at Silicon Valley Community Foundation announced that Music for Autism would receive a $5,000 grant after being nominated by Music for Autism Junior Board Member, Amitha Raman, and recommended by eBay Foundation’s employee-volunteer led GIVE Team. The awarded funds will be used to host two new free interactive concerts in New York City.

Since its establishment in 1998, the eBay Foundation has given over $30 million in grants to nonprofits worldwide, with a focus on creating economic opportunity and community giving.

Dr. Robert Accordino, US founder of Music for Autism, commented, “We are so grateful to eBay for their enthusiastic support of our programs and look forward to their two sponsored concerts next year.”

Music for Autism is excited about this grant and we hope all our fans in New York City are looking forward to these two new concerts.  Stay tuned for more information.
