Wes McCune is a music teacher at John Adams Elementary School in Alexandria, Va. For the Alexandria schools, he established Orff-Schulwerk and opera education programs. His Orff ensemble students have performed throughout the metropolitan area throughout the metropolitan area for national and international conferences, civic organizations and community events including at The Alexandria Black History Museum, the Torpedo Factory and The Kennedy Center. McCune has degrees in piano performance from Illinois Wesleyan University and Ohio University.
